Design brief â€“ A comprehensive written document for a design project developed in concert by a person representing the business need for design and the designer. The document is focused on the desired results of design â€“ not aesthetics. Design Briefs are an extremely important part of the functions of Companies and corporationss, especially engineering firms.
A non-statutory plan, similar to an ARP or an ASP but approved before The Planning Act 1977. They are still in effect for some communities but are sometimes being replaced by ARPs , ASPs and Community Plans.
