Colonel David Randolph Scott (born June 6, 1932), a former NASA astronaut, was one of the third group of astronauts named by NASA in October 1963 and is one of only twelve men who have walked on the moon.

David Scott (October, 1806 – March 5, 1849), Scottish historical painter, brother of William Bell Scott, was born at Edinburgh, and studied art under his father, Robert Scott, the engraver.

David Scott (born June 27 1946), American politician, has been a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives since 2003, representing the 13th District of Georgia (http://nationalatlas.gov/printable/images/preview/congdist/ga13_109.gif map). He was born in Aynor, South Carolina and attended high school in Daytona Beach, Florida. Scott was educated at Florida A&M University, from which he received a finance degree.
