A measure of a corporations ability to meet a particular expense.
describes a company's ability to pay debt from cash flow or profits. Typical measures are EBITDA/Interest, (EBITDA minus Capital Expenditures)/Interest, and EBIT/Interest.
A large number of banks link service revenues (RPS) to fixed costs (administrative expenses). Ideally service revenues should cover 100% of administrative costs. The most widely used ratios include: RPS/Expenses with personnel and RPS/Administrative expenses.
