The analytical, materially-based, rational half of our consciousness. The mind at work when we compute our taxes, theorize, or struggle with ideas.
(3rd dimensional awareness)
The 12% of our mind of which we are most aware. The part responsible for logic, reasoning, decision-making, and will power.
The part of our mind that is in present moment awareness. It can only pay attention to a few variables at once and does not see longer term or deeper consequences.
the level of consciousness that includes the mental experiences that we are aware of at a given moment. 229
the state of mind that you inhabit during waking awareness. It is your present time experience of environmental and internal sensations, feelings, thoughts, attitudes, and awareness of impressions entering your mind.
The surface level of the mind, characterized by reason and intention, as opposed to the subjective, irrational, deeper level known as the unconscious. Joseph Campbell believes that mythology is the vehicle of unconscious or symbolic expression, and that the surface level of meaning is a mere "mask" to be seen through and beyond.
conscious mind: we each have three minds. These are the conscious, subconscious and superconscious. The conscious mind is the reasoning mind which we use to make decisions and choices in life; it is our discerning faculty; it is the realization aspect of our consciousness = what we hold in our conscious mind is that which we are "conscious" of; the subconscious mind is a non-reasoning mind that could be likened to the akashic records as it stores all our memories, abilities, gifts, talents we acquired in the past; also called the habitual mind as all our habits are stored in the subconscious mind; the subconscious mind needs to be cleared of all negative ego / fear based / separative / dualistic / illusionary / lower self programmings of past lives and this life; ideal = for the 3 minds to function as one; ideally the conscious mind is subservient to the superconscious mind which is an aspect of God's Mind within us, and the ideally the subconscious mind is subservient to the conscious mind which is attuned to and aligned with the superconscious mind
That part of our mind of which we are aware
the mind you 'think' with and 'make sense' of things with. It is the part of your mind that you are aware of right now, which is awake, and sleeps at night when you then become 'unconscious'. It is the logical mind that makes rational decisions and connects you with your reality. Your conscious waking mind is like the tip of an iceberg. Your conscious mind is what is seen, but like an iceberg the larger part is underneath the water, which you are unaware of. This larger, hidden part is the unconscious mind.
The analytical, materially-based, rational half of our consciousness. Compare with PSYCHIC MIND.
A section of our mind that we use on a daily basis which allows us think when awake.
