Applies to American sports where the betting activity is capped by the bookie; which usually happens when bad weather or injury could change or affect the chances of either team winning, and as a result make the outcome of a game more uncertain.
A game where the bookmaker may place a limit on the amount that he is willing to accept. This is usually a temporary measure in response to news that may radically affect the odds/line.
A game in which the sports book reduces its normal betting limit usually because of an injury or weather condition.
