Moving chain which carries a roller coaster train or car to the top of a lift hill.

This very common method of using a motorised chain to haul the train to the top of a hill, so that it may coast down the other side under it's own momentum. Hence the term roller COASTER.

The device that lifts the train of cars to the top of the first hill. From there, gravity takes over.
