Definitions for "BTA"
A service area designed by Rand McNally and adopted by the FCC to promote the rapid deployment and complete geographic coverage of Personal Communications Services (PCS) and a variety of other services and providers. BTAs are usually composed of several contiguous counties. There are 493 BTAs in the United States.
BUSINESS TRAVEL ACCOUNT. Centrally billed accounts provided by American Express for airlines, rail, and car rental charges.
British Tourist Authority. Government body promoting travel to U.K. throughout the world.
