Any player who checks an opponent in such a manner that causes the opponent to be thrown violently into the boards (2 minutes,5 or a game misconduct).
Violently checking an opponent into the boards from behind. Boarding is illegal and merits a penalty.
A minor or major boarding penalty assessed to a player who bodychecks an opponent with excessive force into the boards of hockey rink.
