Bankhead is a predominantly African-American neighborhood on the west side of Atlanta, Georgia. It's surrounded by Grove Park on the west, West End on the south, Vine City on the east with Berkely Park and Home Park on the north. At its center is MARTA's Bankhead station and Maddox Park.

Bankhead is an above-ground station in the MARTA rail system. The area it serves is scheduled to be an important part of the Belt Line, near Maddox Park and the new Westside Park which would be the largest park in the city of Atlanta. As of April 2006 2,310 daily fares were collected at the gates.
