AXP - Active XML Page, just likes SPRING to EJB, which is a lightweight, faster, simpler, and much much easier than Web Service. And the client is based on Ajax.

AXP stands for Arch eXtension Platform. It features a pluggable command set that extends the GNU Arch functionality. It includes high level operations on revision library, searching for the locations and content of world-wide arch repositories, advanced branching and merging commands, and more.
