when you need to find an author in the OPAC
The SAGE online catalog allows you to search by author. An author search will find books by author, editor, or CORPORATE AUTHOR. Associations, agencies, business firms and other institutions are corporate authors.
A search carried out on an index containing the names of authors associated with items described by a catalogue. The search term for a personal author should be inverted, with the surname followed by forenames; the search term for a corporate author is in normal order, but without any initial articles such as 'The'. CAIRNS catalogues differ in which authors are contained in the index; please see the collections information for more details.
