Absence of menstrual bleeding.
Absence of menstruation. Primary - Complete absence of menstruation after puberty. Secondary - The absence of menstruation for at least three months in a woman who has previously menstruated and is not pregnant or breast-feeding. Other causes include the contraceptive pill, stress, fatigue, psychological disturbance, obesity, weight loss, and anorexia nervosa.
Abscence or normal cessation of menstruation for at least six months
Absence or stoppage of the menses.
Amenorrhoea (BE), amenorrhea (AmE), or amenorrhœa, is the absence of a menstrual period in a woman of reproductive age. Physiologic states of amenorrhoea are seen during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding), the latter also forming the basis of a form of contraception known as the Lactational Amenorrhea Method. Outside of the reproductive years there is absence of menses during childhood and after menopause.
