The Adventuress is a 136-foot gaff-rigged schooner launched in 1913 at the Rice Brothers' Yard in East Boothbay, Maine, and now restored and listed as a National Historic Landmark.
The Adventuress sailing dinghy class was built by Anglo Marine of Essex, The Adventuress is classed as a family dinghy due to its spacious design and stable hull made so by the unique bilge keels. The dinghy is 12 feet 6 inches long with a mast just over 18 feet. it is sailed with a main sail and jib. Little is known about these dinghies.
