Analog to digintal conversion
The process of converting an analog value into its digital equivalent.
Also known as just AD or A2D. This refers to a Analog to Digital converter. An example of an A2D is on a DVR board. The analog signal from a camera is converted to digital format for the computer to store/analyze.
Abbreviation for nalog-to- igital. Absolute maximum rating Maximum rated voltage value assuring the normal operation of a crystal oscillator. Exceeding this value may result in a decrease in the reliability of a crystal oscillator.
