In natal astrology, the sign on the Ascendant (first house cusp). In horary astrology, the sign rising in the east at the time in question. Rotational inertia: the tendency of a spinning body's spin axis to remain pointed in the same direction in space. As long as a spinning body is not acted upon by an outside force its spin axis will remain forever pointed in the same direction in space relative to the stars! This is how gyroscopes form inertial guidance systems for planes, submarines and spacecraft. These vehicles constantly refer to a gyroscope's fixed and rigid orientation in space in order to navigate and maintain their bearings (see pages 89 and 90 in " You and the Universe").

Rising is characterized for its heavy guitar riffs and the keyboard skills of Tony Carey coupled with the thunderous energised drumming of Cozy Powell.

Rising is a 1995 album by avant-garde artist Yoko Ono. Released on November 7, on Capitol Records, the album features the backing band IMA (Japanese for "Now"), which included Ono's son Sean Lennon and Timo Ellis, now with Morningwood. Many critics consider Rising to be Ono's finest hour.

Rising is the third live album, and twentieth album overall, from Scottish singer-songwriter Donovan. It was released in the UK (Great Northern Arts, Ltd. GNA 61007-002), in the US as The Classics Live (Permanent Records PERM LP 2) in November 1990, and in the Netherlands as 25 Years in Concert (Dino Music DNCD 1253).
