Within the TAA, we use organizing to refer to many things, including: signing up new members to the union; gathering information about the interests and concerns of members; talking with members to turn out to a membership or department meeting, bargaining session, volunteer night, or rally; planning and holding a rally or event; distributing information through flyers or leaflets; and working with other unions to gain stronger contracts.
