Individuals who give advice about all aspects of finance. IFA's can advise and sell products for a range of insurance companies and investment companies. Generally, the companies pay them commission when they sell a product although they may assign part of that commission to their client. There are also IFA's who do not take commission but charge a fee to their clients instead.
