A specified amount and type of work undertaken during the course, with marks derived from it contributing to a final mark.
A means of study composed of units, usually requiring students to attend lectures and tutorials. Postgraduate certificates, postgraduate diplomas and Master's degrees can be obtained this way. All undergraduate degrees are attained via coursework.
A feature of GCSE whereby a percentage of marks for work done by pupils in school is added to the mark for the end-of-course examination.
This is a piece of work that you complete during your course, typically an assignment, project or investigation, which is usually marked by your teacher then sent to the awarding body for moderation. (Also see Internal assessment.)
