Courses such as those from the Centre for Life-Long Learning which do not produce credits that appear on a transcruipt and which can be applied to degree programs.
A course taken for learning value. A grade may be assigned, but the course is not usually applicable to a credential.
A course that does not award college credit to be applied toward a degree.
A course for which a learner does not earn any credit that applies to a certificate or diploma. Typically, a learner enrolls in a noncredit course in order to acquire information or participate in a learning experience without receiving official recognition for completing the course. Noncredit courses usually do not qualify for financial aid.
A course for enrichment or information and not providing college credit, usually offered through Continuing Education.
