Resource(s) Management Plan
Resource Management Plan. A BLM planning document, prepared in accordance with Section 202 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act. The plan contains guidelines for making resource management decisions for specific areas managed by BLM, known as resource areas.
Regional Management Plan
Refrigerant Management Plan. The objective of a RMP at country level is to design and implement an integrated and overall strategy for cost-effective phaseout of ODS refrigerants, which considers and evaluates all alternative technical and policy options. Projects previously implemented in isolation from one another are thus part of an overall approach synchronized for optimal results. The RMP concept may also be used as a management tool at the company level.

Resource Management Plan: The guiding document for each BLM resource area. The plans may be amended as circumstances in the area change.
RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PLAN. A BLM planning document, prepared in accordance with Section 202 of the U.S. Federal Land Policy and Management Act, that presents systematic guidelines for making resource management decisions for an area or region. Based on an analysis of an area's resources and its existing management and capability for alternative uses, RMPs are issue oriented and developed by an interdisciplinary team with public participation.
Risk Management Plan
Resource Management Plan. A document prepared by field office staff with public participation and approved by field office managers that provides general guidance and direction for land management activities at a field office. The RMP identifies the need for fire in a particular area and for a specific benefit.
Risk Management Planning Planning that is required under the Air Toxics regulations of the Clean Air Act. Risk Management Plans - due by June 21, 1999 - are intended to detect and prevent or minimize accidental airborne release of a set of "extremely hazardous substances" and to provide a prompt emergency response to any such release. Resource Management Plan. The BLM considers resource management plans to be synonymous with land use plans so the terms may be used interchangeably. Land use plan decisions made in RMPâ€™s establish goals and objectives for resource management (such as desired future conditions), the measures needed to achieve these goals and objectives, and parameters for using public lands. Land use planning decisions are usually made on broad scale and customarily guide subsequent site-specific implementation decisions.
Resource Management Plan: The thick and sometimes multi-volume guiding document for each BLM resource area. The plans are not static, but may be amended as different resources become more important.
Reconfiguration Management Plane. The Reconfiguration Management Plane is a virtual network entity that manages the reconfiguration of all equipment in an end-to-end context. It provides the required resources for managing the reconfiguration process and the management of the process itself.
Resource Management Plant. A BLM document detailing their 10-year land management plan. (See NFLRMP.)
