The process of bringing together innovation, aesthetics, and functionality to plan and create a product, process or system to meet the artistic, industrial or performance requirement of an individual or group. The Design Process involves a series of activities where an idea is conceived, shaped, developed, produced and then acted upon to produce a designed-product. It also includes any subsequent alteration of a designed-product (redesign or retrofit).
