A unique process and a ceremony of initiation into Sadhnas, which a Guru performs on his disciple. It is in fact a procedure of bestowing the divine powers of a Guru to the disciple, through which he progresses continuously on the path of divinity. There are a number of Dikshas mentioned in the scriptures for achieving various goals e.g. Kundalini Jagran Diksha (for the awakening of the Kundalini), Baglamukhi Diksha (for the annihilation of the enemies), Panchanguli Diksha (for knowing the past and future of a person) etc.
