Examples of prerequisites are earning an acceptable grade in the appropriate college course (or courses), demonstrating the required background through a placement exam, or having the necessary class standing. Some courses may even require you to obtain the consent of the instructor. Be aware that you are responsible for checking the prerequisites for all courses for which you enroll, and if you do not meet the prerequisites, you can be disenrolled from the course.
