King was a British New Wave pop band of the mid-eighties from Coventry, led by singer Paul King (born 20 November 1961), famed for his 'cockatoo' haircut and spray painted Doc Marten's Boots. King were preceded by an early incarnation of the band named "The Reluctant Stereotypes" who released an album and three singles in the early 1980's off the back of Coventry's vibrant ska scene. The band released two albums on CBS both produced and mixed by Richard James Burgess.
King was an album released by Belly in 1995, two years after their previous album, Star. Although the members had tightened their focus and polished their hook-laden songs, the album and its singles were commercial failures in the grunge-friendly atmosphere of 1995, and the band broke up shortly after it was released.
King is an album from hip-hop artist T.I. It was released on March 28, 2006 in the United States and it features guest appearances by Pharrell, Common, Jamie Foxx, B.G., UGK and others. It includes the singles "Front Back" featuring UGK , "Ride Wit Me", "What You Know", "Live in the Sky" (featuring Jamie Foxx), "Why You Wanna", and "Top Back".
