Djibouti ( Jībūtī, Somali: Jabuuti), officially the Republic of Djibouti, is a small country in eastern Africa, located in the Horn of Africa. Djibouti is bordered by Eritrea in the north, Ethiopia in the west and south, and Somalia in the southeast. The remainder of the border is formed by the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

The national anthem of Djibouti was adopted upon independence from France in 1977. The words are by Aden Elmi and the melody is by Abdi Robleh.
