The Warriors is a beat 'em up video game released on October 17, 2005 for the Play Station 2 and Xbox. Rockstar Games announced on October 18, 2006 that The Warriors will be ported to the Playstation Portable and is set to release on February 12, 2007. The Playstation Portable port will be developed by Rockstar Leeds.

Compared to the movie, the novel takes a closer look at the concepts of sexuality, reputation, family, and survival. An important difference between the book and following movie is that the movie was produced in 1979, a full fourteen years after the book was printed.
