Random bred or non-pedigreed cat

A random bred cat, or a purebred cat that is not registered or cannot compete with members of its breed. These cats compete in a special category called the Household Pets or HHP category.

The household pet class at a North American show is open to all cats, purebred or not, that are not eligible to compete in any other class. The term "household pet" is also used to refer to mixed-breed cats.

A household cat not conforming to any recognized pedigree breed, nor having any parent as a recognized breed, also called a "moggie"

In cat show terms, a cat not registered for breeding or exhibition.

A non-registered altered cat, usually from unregistered stock and of no particular breed.
