Monolingual is a program for removing unnecessary language resources from Mac OS X.

Using or knowing only one language; as, monolingual speakers; a monolingual dictionary. Opposite of multilingual.

Capable of communication in one language.

A person who has the ability to communicate in only one language.

involving one language. This may refer to a type of dictionary, for example, in which definitions are given in the same language as the terms being defined, e.g. a French-French dictionary
