The "Internet Cache Protocol" controls the communication of cache servers and proxy servers with clients.
Gensym's proprietary communications protocol, which allows G2s, G2 Gateways, and Telewindows to share information and distribute control among one or more G2 processes. ICP is a layer built on top of the DECnet or TCP/IP networking protocols, depending on which platforms you are using in your network.
Internet Caching Protocol; The not yet standardised protocol used for communication between web-caching servers.
Internet Cache Protocol. A message format for communicating between Web caches. Typically used to locate objects in neighboring caches. The caches can be connected in any non-cyclical pattern including hierarchical.
Internet Cache Protocol. The protocol used for querying proxy servers for cached objects.
IMA control protocol. Cells that determine the differential delay between the links in the IMA group. ICP cells are sent on each link once per IMA frame.
Initial Connection Protocol. The protocol used by the TELNET protocol to make an initial connection to a specified server
Internet Control Protocol. Protocol that tracks the internet address of nodes, routes outgoing messages, and recognizes incoming messages.
