Waf is a Python-based framework for configuring, compiling, and installing applications to replace the whole GNU autotool chain . It is extremely small , easy to redistribute , and features several tools for building C, C++, Java, Gnome, C#, Qt4, or OCaml applications.
Workfolder Application Facility. Software on the System/36 and AS/400 within the ImagePlus image processing system. WAF manages scanned documents, and creates and manages interaction with workflow software. Originally developed by IBM for Citibank’s credit card correspondence. Waf, formerly known as BKsys, is a software build system, ie. a programme to assist in automatic compilation of other programmes. Waf is inspired by and descended from SCons, though it is a separate project.
