Uran (Hindi: उरन, Urdu: اُرن) is a city and a municipal council near Mumbai in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Uran is part of the Navi Mumbai city township and lies in the Raigarh district. Situated east of Mumbai across the Thane Creek.
