A term in mail order or fulfillment to describe mail or products that have been returned by the USPS (or other carrier) because the addresses to which they were sent are invalid or incomplete. The term also applies to orders, which cannot be filled, because the customers' addresses are illegible or incomplete. See also FULFILLMENT MAIL ORDER
