Definitions for "Uncommitted"
To present participles which come from intransitive verbs, or are themselves employed as adjectives, to mark the absence of the activity, disposition, or condition implied by the participle;
Committed facilities are only repayable at the end of a specific period such as three or five years, whilst uncommitted facilities are repayable on demand (e.g. an overdraft).
