Definitions for "UNCOATED"
Keywords:  copier, aqueous, coated, porous, offset
Often referred to as copier or offset paper, this stock has no coating and allows ink absorption during the printing process. As the ink is absorbed by the various paper fibers, it diffuses the image and lessens contrast between colors, yielding a softer look and feel.
Uncoated paper means that the printed piece has not coated with UV Coating or Aqueous Coating during the finishing process.
Paper with no finish applied to it (either glossy or matte) to create a more porous printing surface.
