Tuesday is considered either the second or the third day of the week, between Monday and Wednesday. The word "Tuesday" comes from Middle English Twisday, from Old English Tiwes dæg, a rendering of Latin Martis dies. The English and Scandinavian names are derived from the Nordic god Tyr (in Old English, Tiw, Tew or Tiu.
"Tuesday" is the second track on Shine, the 2005 release Trey Anastasio. It was recorded in mid-2005 at the Southern Tracks Recording Studio in Atlanta, GA. "Tuesday" is considered "irrestistible," and seems to be the most popular song on the album.
Tuesday was a Pop-Punk/Emo band that was formed by three ex-members of the Chicago Ska band Slapstick after the latter's 1996 breakup.
