Definitions for "Transit Cargo"
Cargo between outwards customs clearance and inwards customs clearance. Cargo arriving at a point and departing there-from by the same through flight (air cargo).
Goods onboard which upon their arrival at a certain port are not to be discharged at that port.
Cargo in the process of passing through the customs of a country which is not its final destination so that the goods are not cleared. In aircargo the term is used to describe cargo on board a plane which arrives in a place which is not its final destination in a plane stop-over. It is not unloaded but departs again on the same flight.
