A type of breast reconstruction surgery in which tissue and muscle are removed from the lower abdomen (a "tummy tuck") and used to rebuild the breast. Also called transrectal abdominal muscle surgery.

For the reconstruction of a breast it is tunneled under the skin and fat of the abdominal wall into the breast wound where it is shaped into a breast mound. This results in removing excess skin and fat from the lower abdomen simular to a "tummy tuck" operation.
A type of breast reconstruction operation during which tissue from the lower abdomen is shifted to the breast area in patients who have had a mastectomy. The tissue shifted is normally the same tissue that is removed in a "tummy tuck" operation.
Type of breast reconstruction. Part of the rectus abdominus muscle in the Abdomen is transplanted to the chest wall and used to create a new breast shape. Sometimes an implant is also used.
