The Titans were the older race of Gods before the Greek Gods like Zues and his crew took claim of their place. There was a great battle between them in which the Titans lost. Titans looked like Giant humans. The picture shows the Titan Altas bearing the weight of the heavens. He was sentenced to carry the heavens after the battle with the Greek Gods.
