Definitions for "Tiedown"
A strap that connects to the noseband and the cinch or breast collar; a control device to limit the height of the horse's head. Western version of the standing martingale. A strap from the girth to the noseband or bosal to keep the horse from tossing his head.
The style of jersey in which the front of the collar contains eyelets and a string lace for players to tighten or loosen, as desired.
Threads--part of the initial endband sewing--that extend down to the kettle stitch and help to secure the endband to the textblock.
