Definitions for "TFP"
TFP means Time for Prints. It is when a model will exchange their time to pose for a photographer and the photographer will in turn give the model prints for their book. Usually this is done by a photographer who may be building their own portfolio or they want to try new lighting techniques or styles.
ime or rints -- an agreement between the model and the photographer to do a photo shoot without paying each other monetarily. The idea is that the model "pays" the photographer with his/her time spent on the shoot, and the photographer "pays" the model with prints. Can also be used to refer to similar arrangements with other non-monetary compensation; for example, this general term can be used in place of the more-specific TFCD.
similar to test shoots. Photographer provides time and prints and the model provides a subject for the photographer to shoot. Generally offered by photographers who are transitioning into a new area of photography or trying to build their portfolio of work.
