Definitions for "Sleep latency"
time period measured from "lights out," or bedtime, to the beginning of sleep
the amount of time it takes one to fall asleep.
The length of time between lying down and falling asleep. Measured during the Multiple Sleep Latency Test, as an aid in the diagnosis of narcolepsy. Narcoleptics usually have a sleep latency of less than 10 minutes.
