Skynet is a family of military satellites, now operated by Paradigm Secure Communications on behalf of the UK Ministry of Defence, which provide strategic communication services to the three branches of the UK Armed Forces and to NATO forces engaged on coalition tasks.

Skynet is a fictional computer network created by Cyberdyne Systems Corporation for Strategic Air Command-North American Aerospace Defense Command and the main unseen villain in the Terminator series.

Skynet (real name Nathan Vinall) is a prominent drum and bass producer. In the early 2000s, he released a string of popular techstep singles and an album, Clockwork, with Stakka (Shaun Morris) as Stakka & Skynet on Audio Blueprint and its imprint Underfire. After parting ways with Stakka, he started his own label, Skynet Recordings.
