He is the first in Fire Emblem's Lord class to have exceptional stats, and the first in the Lord class to be mounted on a horse and to be able to use lances, although most players instead sell his Iron Lance. His son Celice, and Eliwood from Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken, are mounted on a horse after class promotion.
