You know them as "rickshaws". Literally, "Three Wheeled Vehicles". In Chinglish, they are sometimes called "tricycles" but these are clearly not for children. The drivers are usually the most obnoxious people extant in China. They top the very short list of things I hate about China. Here's a picture of one in Suzhou.
