Salvador is a 1986 film which tells the story of an American journalist in El Salvador covering the story of the assassination of Archbishop Óscar Romero. While trying to get his Salvadoran girlfriend out of the country, he becomes entangled with both leftist guerrillas and rightist military. It stars James Woods, James Belushi, Michael Murphy, John Savage, Elpidia Carrillo, Tony Plana, Cynthia Gibb, Juan Fernandez and José Carlos Ruiz.
Salvador (Puig Antich) (or Salvador) is a 2006 Spanish film directed by Manuel Huerga. It is based on the Francesc Escribano book , which describes the execution of Salvador Puig Antich, the last person arrested for political reasons under the dictatorship of Francisco Franco.
