The ratio of a detector's output to input, usually measured in units of amperes per watt (or micro amperes per microwatt).
Similar to sensitivity this is a term for describing the rating of the output current from a camera sensor divided by the incident flux of light, usually expressed in signal current per watt of input radiation at a specific wavelength.
A measure of detector performance, measures the value of the detector output change for a given applied thermal power change.
The ratio of a photodetector's electrical output to its optical input in Amperes/Watt (A/W). Return Loss: See optical return loss.
Responsivity measures the slope of a system's input-output function. For a system that responds linearly to its input there is a unique responsivity. For nonlinear systems, the responsivity is the local slope (derivative).
