Standard for burning audio CD's which basicaly specifies that regardless of the quantity of individual audio tracks or segments of audio with spaces between, a RED-BOOK master must be one continuously burned linear file. Thus one compiles individual files of audio into one long play order, then burn's the entire play order of files onto a disk in one burn. You can put a commercial CD into your PC CD drive/player and use the 'explore' functiopn of Windows to view the disk contents you will see just one single .CDA file... This file contains all the individual tracks.
