In respect of a halocarbon, reclaimed means recovered, re-processed and upgraded, through processes such as filtering, drying, distillation and chemical treatment, in order to restore the halocarbon to industry-accepted re-use standards. Recovered refrigerants are shipped off-site to a central processing facility and cleaned by the above processes. The results of reclamation are verified by laboratory analysis.
