Relational Data Model. A specialized form of Relational Model set theory that is applied to data. It is manifested in relational data bases and Data Modeling techniques. The RDM defines data in terms of Tables that are n-ary relations. Tables contain Tuples of related data that depend upon embedded identity attributes (keys). Tables can be logically related through relationships based upon rules for embedded referential identity attributes (foreign keys). This allows related data to be extracted from multiple Tables.
