Quincy was opened on October 3, 1897. The station is situated in the South Loop Financial District and is the closest CTA rail station to the Sears Tower, approximately one block west.
The are a fictional sect of exorcists in the manga and anime series Bleach. The Quincy are nearly extinct due to extermination by the shinigami about 200 years before the main Bleach storyline.
